That you will experience a therapeutic relationship founded in trust, as I believe progress in therapy begins with honesty and trust. It takes courage to let someone see you as you are. I hope that you find a safe space to explore things that may feel scary or uncomfortable and a place where you feel heard and valued.

I tend to be a more long term therapist and most clients see me as calm, curious, authentic, and engaged. Together, we create a plan to support you based on your identified needs and goals. We work together to better understand how skills like healthy communication, boundary setting, and self compassion can help you work toward becoming the person you want to be. Learning new things, especially as an adult, can often be challenging. Sometimes, we can be impatient or get a little stuck. But the consistent practice of skill building will help you integrate these skills into the roadmap of how you operate each day. As goals and needs shift over time, we will adapt accordingly until you are in a place where you feel confident and equipped for your next steps.

Currently, I am seeing clients via Telehealth using the HIPAA compliant Google meet platform. This allows for increased accessibility, as I can see clients throughout the state of Texas.

I think this answer is different for everyone but a general theme I witness is when clients feel better equipped to tackle the challenges they face. Working with a therapist will rarely alleviate all symptoms of anxiety or “cure” depression. But, when it is working well, a client should feel better prepared with a toolbox of coping skills and increased self awareness of the impact of their feelings and their actions on themselves and their loved ones.
